The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is well done and well stocked. The bathtub and shower were good quality. I think the owner must have lived here. It has the feel of a home, not a rental and is up-kept well. The owner texted us the day of our arrival and kept in touch with us. She also owns Cucino Verona in Ft. Bragg and the Mercado bakery and we tried both, which were great, and got to meet her.

This is the second time I've stayed at this house, and I really love it. It's convenient to Fort Bragg and Mendocino, incredibly peaceful, has a lovely jacuzzi tub to relax in, and is somehow perfect for both a creative, quiet get-away alone or with friends and an escape for a small family like ours. A great place to cook yourself a meal, do some work, or go out and explore the beaches and charming towns nearby. Highly recommended!

The owners put much effort in comfort. There are more important things than having all the things you might need, comfort! Every room has comfort in mind. We brought our teenage granddaughters with us but we are in our 60's and comfort is a big issue due to arthritis. The dining room chairs are very comfortable as we enjoyed meals and the games that are provided. The living room couches are very comfortable while being supportive. And the master bed is extremely comfortable. The outside space is well done with every size stump around the fire pit which we enjoyed each night. Our granddaughters loved the place too. We are so glad we found this place. Thank you!

The house is a perfect place to stay if you're visiting Mendocino or Fort Bragg. The host was friendly and helpful in all of our interactions, and we also enjoyed dropping in on her restaurant in town where we had a wonderful meal. The house is very thoughtfully put together, so we had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and there was enough space in the house for us to do some writing (we were there for a writers' conference.). I can imagine it would be a great place for a family as well. The yard was very pretty, and it was close enough to jog to and from the beach (less than a mile.) Overall, a great location and a very enjoyable stay!
