A beautiful quiet apartment. The hosts were very accommodating, made sure our stay was comfortable. As the apartment is situated up the hill they offered to pick us up with our luggage.

Simone & Silvia, the hosts at La Stalletta, take their role as hosts very seriously, going far out of their way to advise and assist if you need it. The apartment was spotlessly clean and generously & thoughtfully stocked. The bed was comfortable and there were additional blankets & pillows. The shower room was large and well-equipped. The kitchen / diner / lounge included all you need to self-cater and opens on to a balcony. Including a washing machine, iron & board, dishwasher, oven & hob, coffee machine & kettle, microwave & sandwich toaster, it really is home away from home. The location is quiet & charming, with gorgeous views on the walk down to the lake. The walk back includes some steep slopes & stairs, but taxi numbers are posted around town. We can also highly recommend the Trattoria La Vecchia Magnolia, which is within a minute’s walk.

We have been travelling for weeks through various cities in Europe. The La Stalletta accommodation was the best by a long way. The attention to detail and the quality of the rooms and facilities is outstanding. And the hosts Silvia and Simone couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in ruhiger Lage im Ortsteil Loveno, der ca. 1,7 km oberhalb des Zentrums v. Menaggio liegt. Es handelt sich um ein geschmackvoll umgebautes Stallgebäude, das über 2 Ebenen komfortabel und ideal für den Aufenthalt v. 2 Personen eingerichtet ist. Der Weg zum Zentrum kann problemlos zu Fuß zurückgelegt werden. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden. Kleines Manko: der WLAN-Empfang war nicht immer störungsfrei. Ein gutes Frühstück kann man in dem ebenfalls in der Nähe befindlichen Bistro "Passer" einnehmen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.
