The property agency helped me decide whether to drive or take a train/taxi (we drove), sent us great info including a video on exactly how to arrive at the parking spot in the medieval quarter, and had someone meet us with the keys. It was very smooth.
The house itself is so, so beautiful--the pictures don't do justice to either the property or the views. WOW! It was just fantastic, and we loved being in Gaeta Vecchia, just a short walk up from so many restaurants. It's farther from the beach (only about a mile walk), but worth it for the ambiance, in my opinion.
Also, the back garden is such a cool space. We hardly had occasion to use it, but I would love a longer stay and to have quiet mornings here working or drawing, or to have meals here :)
The air conditioning works great too, if this is a concern to anyone. It was quite hot during our stay (late August), and very humid, and the a/c made the nights super comfortable.
Unfortunately, the wi-fi signal was terrible. Supposedly connected but practically worthless--which would have been okay except that I had to miss a Zoom work meeting, and we had to use our cellular, for $12/day, to get a connection--but actually our cellular connection was terrible at the property too. This isn't a big deal overall, but it made it difficult to look up restaurants and plan our days, etc.
Also, since it's a beach town and we were there in high season for the beach, it would have been great if beach towels had been provided as is often the case in this kind of holiday home. We had to buy some from the lido, which was fine.
These are very minor quibbles. We loved the place!

Vi älskade läget och utsikten. Boendet ligger högt upp i gamla delen av byn och har utsikt över bukten och takåsarna. Magiskt!!
Innergården med matplatsen var väldigt mysig.
Boendet var stort och rymligt och det var bra med köksutrustning och tvättmaskin.
Det var bekvämt att ha parkering nära. Mycket skönt att det fanns AC i alla sovrum och vardagsrummet eftersom vi var där mitt i sommaren.
Camilla var fantastisk och fanns alltid tillgänglig och svarade på alla frågor, gav oss tips på utflykter och hjälpte oss med allt praktiskt med boendet

Lägenheten är mycket rymlig för en familj på fyra personer, personligt och omsorgsfullt inredd och mycket välstädad. Utsikten från flera av rummen och terrassen är bedövande vacker med inramning av azurblått hav och berg. Köket, med utsikt, har allt som behövs för att laga mat. Vår värd Camilla var så hjälpsam och gav tips på allt från bra lokala restauranger till finaste stränder och ordnade med båtutflykt. Vi hade hyrbil vilket underlättar för att transportera sig då boendet ligger högre upp i den äldre delen av Gaeta.

Large authentic flat with traditionell furnishings in the old part of Gaeta overlooking the bay of Gaeta. Fantastic view, clean and well-equipped.
Gaeta is a lovely town with an amazing beach and may serve as base for daily excursions.
Unfortunately, the balcony was too small for two persons and had no sun at any time. That means that we used this otherwise fantastic place not more than needed. It could get pretty cold in the rooms. Serapo is the only beach in Gaeta and the walking distance was longer than expected (2km) as there is no direct way over Monte Orlando. Sounds like I'm complaining but given the price that we paid for the week that was what we didn't like.
