About this apartment rental
Spacious apartment combining classic and modern styles, perfect for accommodating a family or group, within walking distance of downtown and Montagnola Park.
The apartment is on the fourth floor of a building with an elevator, located in a residential area. The entrance opens onto a hallway from where you enter the rest of the rooms. The living area consists of an open kitchen equipped with all amenities including a dishwasher, an oven and a kettle, and a large wooden dining table in the center of the room. The sleeping area consists of three bedrooms all equipped with a large closet and a desk: two feature a queen-size bed and one has two single beds. Two bathrooms complete the layout, one with a shower and one with a bathtub and shower.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colors characterizing its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. This property is in a great location, an easy walk to the central square and all the main landmarks in Bologna. We found the check in easy and the host was flexible when we had an unexpected delay in our arrival. The 3 bedrooms are large. There is no "living room", the dining/kitchen area is the only communal space. There are two bathrooms, both with shower which is nice. The apartment is bright and very clean. There were several minor inconveniences of the property. The apartment faces Via Irnerio which is a busy road, so we found the master bedroom quite noisy at night. The other 2 bedrooms had 2 layers of windows, so were much quieter. The kitchen has very basic equipment, we were surprised by the lack of toaster, frying pan, and kitchen towels. There were also no small spoons, which would have been helpful for the children.

This apartment is in a great location, 10 minutes from Bologna Central Station, 10 minutes from the city centre. and five minutes from restaurant lined eat streets. The downside of the central location is that the area is noisy both from traffic outside and from the people who visit the wine bar and cafe downstairs. But these go with inner-city living and didn’t bother us too much.
The apartment, located on the fourth floor, was clean and airy, and the rooms are a good size. The surprise was that there is no living room and so, no comfy sofa. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a very large kitchen. There were 12 chairs in the apartment, none of which were comfortable but there was nowhere that we could sit around as a group, except on the plastic kitchen chairs. The kitchen is certainly large enough for a little sitting area to be created so we wonder why this hasn’t been done. The large yellow sofa that you see in the pictures is actually a hard backed upright uncomfortable sofa which is located in the main bedroom and was useful for placing suitcases. There is a TV in the kitchen, but all of the channels are Italian language, no BBC or CNN. Surprisingly, there is no toaster and no microwave oven in the kitchen. If you can live without a sofa, don’t mind a bit of street noise and want a clean and spacious place to stay in Bologna, this apartment would suit you well.

Nice apartment, comfortable and roomy. Very good air conditioning, comfortable beds, and a nice big kitchen. It can be a bit loud outside, but we all slept fine. A better curtain in the bathroom woild be nice. I would definitely stay there again and would reccommend.
