About this apartment rental
Villa in the historic city center with a garden, large hot tub, and private outdoor dining area. Truly unique for its peace, privacy, and greenery it almost doesn t feel like you re in the city, yet it's close to all services. Recently renovated according to Bolognese tradition, with high end finishes: Venetian terrazzo floors, exposed chestnut beams, and mosaic tiled bathrooms. Please specify your preferred bed setup.
The entire house, including the terrace and the garden with a whirlpool tub. Check in is possible at 12:30 PM for a small additional fee. A unique, very quiet house with a garden in the historic center of Bologna, just an 8 minute walk from Piazza Maggiore! Outside, the house has a large terrace on the ground floor overlooking the private garden. Inside, on the ground floor, there is a living/dining room, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. The first bedroom has a double bed, while the second has a single bed.
From the train station there are two bus lines stopping in front of the house. The first line is number 21, right in square medaglie d'oro. The second line departs from square XX Settembre, across the street from the train station. The stop of the house for both lines is Sant'isaia. Journey time is about 10 minutes. It takes 20 minutes by foot.

Close to the train station. Very helpful. Marta was really good to deal with. Place is really nice inside. The four of us enjoyed the space.

A very nice apartment but a few niggles: the check in procedure was okay, however, when arriving at the property, none of the phone numbers listed in the instructions worked. I found another and managed to speak to someone who initiated the opening of the outer front door remotely. There did not appear to be any way to switch on the lights leading to the property through the garden, it was very dark! A couple of glasses were chipped and the only cork screw was broken. We replaced the corkscrew as we wanted to have some wine! I left the chipped glasses out and labled them as such. I did notify the owner/caretake who acknowledged this. From the description of the property, we were not aware that one of the bathrooms was on the ground floor, maybe our mistake. Regardless, we had a great time and the location of the apartment was really good. Thank you!

This apartment was very private and quite spacious for two. The garden is wonderful-altho rain prevented us from enjoying it. The location is a little remote from the historic center- about a mile, which is a lot for septugenarians. The bus system is excellent but you have to learn how to use it.The best thing about the location is the proximity to Rosmarin-a wonderful Trattoria with 5 star food.Few Italians spoke English in that neighborhood, which made getting around more difficult. Overall, we recommend this place for touring Americans but rent it with eyes wide open. We never met an owner- the entry directions were a little weird -

We had high expectations for this apartment based on the listing information but we were a little disappointed. It wasn’t as clean as we hoped, especially the kitchen area, although it was acceptable I guess. The host was very responsive and prompt and tried to provide us with what we needed. It is well located and safe. Our biggest issue is that there are many many steps in this unit (for example, to go from the bedroom to the bathroom required us to step down, step up, step down - every time. And this wasn’t as clear as it could have been in the pictures or the listing description. This is not an appropriate apartment for anyone who has balance issues - which we had. In summary, it’s an acceptable property - not great, but acceptable.
