I liked
I liked Alma Place a lot, it is clean and quiet and safe. The coffee machine is helpful. The location is convient.
If can provide cloth hangers that will be much helpfu.

Decent location, about 10mins walk into the shopping centre and about 20mins to Grand central.
For student accommodation (that is letted out to the public during the summer holidays) they are really nice rooms!
Very spacious, comfortable beds, come with an oven and fridge/freezer.
Overall, very happy with the room itself!
Honestly, it isn’t really too much of a negative, had we been staying longer it would have been but we were only giving 1 loo roll, which between two people for 3 days wasn’t quite enough.
Asked at reception if they had another we could have, and was told they didn’t have any and to try again on Monday, but we were leaving that day.
Also, there are a couple of bars just outside the place, so we were woken up 2 nights in a row from people shouting but we did have the windows open due to the room being warm.
My one real negative, is the communication via booking.com messenger. I kept getting messages, saying our booking had been cancelled, that we need to cancel if we are not students, sent suspicious links to click on. This did all become a bit annoying but once we were there and settled in, honestly it’s a really nice place and would stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at Alma Place and it was helpful that I ran into the housekeeper when I first arrived who showed me to my room and made sure I had everything I needed. The guy on reception was also friendly when I was coming in and out of the building.
The facilities were great, the kitchen was well equipped.
The room also had this very strange heating/aircon system which overheated the room during the night and made a bit of noise. The lights in the bathroom were also automatic and so if you got up in the night they switched themselves on and I didn't necessarily want to wake up that fully during the night. The hi-tech setup didn't really honestly contribute to my comfort overall.
