Imagine a ground floor apartment in the city centre inside the walls of Lucca, along Via Fontana, between the main shopping street Via Fillungo and the picturesque square where the Church of San Frediano dominates the plaza with its majestic golden Byzantine Mosaic. Imagine your private outdoor living and dining area and your kitchen inside the shaded greenhouse, imagine an apartment that welcomes you in a grand living room showing original stone columns dating back to 1300s, enjoy luxury interiors fully renovated in early 2023; enjoy a luxury Lucca Apartment inside the walls of Lucca that features WIFI and Air conditioning, enjoy bespoke cafes such as Caffè Santa Zita, wine bars and authentic restaurants just steps away from your door: this is Casa di Lapo.
The rental property is located within the ZTL area (Limited Traffic Area, accessible only by permanent residents and people with special permission) and does not offer on-site parking.
The closest Parking is Mazzini, located in a walking distance from the rental property, so leaving the car there prior reaching the apartment is essential. By following the road signs you will be able to avoid the ZTL area while driving to the parking. We kindly inform all guests that the rental property is self catering so hotel-like services are excluded by law (reception, surveillance of the accommodation, provision of meals and drinks, daily cleaning and linen change, transfers). For such reason any additional service can be provided on request and with the collaboration of external qualified partners and charged accordingly.
If you have a late arrival, make sure to inform us ahead of time. You can experience the flexibility of a late check-in, available until midnight for a surcharge of 50 euros payable in cash upon arrival.
For those enchanted by the allure of Lucca after midnight, a check-in option is also offered with a surcharge of 100 euros.

We never expect kitchens and bathrooms in Italy to be like the U.S. Knowing that, the kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. The showers were quite small but did the job. Washing machine worked great. Just had to plan laundry on sunny days since no dyer. The location was perfect. Quiet yet near to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this place. One minor recommendation I have for owner is a need for hooks. There was no place to hang pajamas or robes. A hook in each bathroom would help.

This was a fabulous location with a very nicely curated apartment. It had a bright energy with a great little kitchen. This place was very close to the wall and right around the corner from the grocery store. It was everything we hoped for and highly recommend the property. Additionally, our house manager, Manuel, was very attentive and checked on us several times throughout the month that we were there.

This apartment was beautiful and right in the heart of Lucca. I have stayed there many times and the location was the best yet. Despite that it was very quiet with no street noise at all.

The apartment is on the lower floor which means easy access and no stairs to climb. It is a beautiful apartment with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space to relax. Two en-suite bedrooms makes it easy to get ready in the morning without having to wait for the bathroom. The apartment is right in the middle of all the wonderful things Lucca has to offer. Just around the corner from San Frediano and a little supermarket. Couldn’t be better.
