About this farm stay rental
The house is 3 minutes from the village (google maps shows the location wrong. Right coordinates 44.620325, 8.186085 ) and is 150 years old. It was fully renovated. Conserving the caracter of the old farmhouse with modern architectural and equipment.
There is an apartment with a separate entrance. Here you will find on the first floor a living room with a spectacular view along with kitchen and bathroom 2 beds are in the gallery and one separate 2 bedroom.
A shaded portico is complemented by a sunny veranda providing diverse relaxing areas which accommodate varying weather conditions. The pool, located on the lower terrace is 14x3x1,5 meters where while swimming you will have a splendid view of the "Langhe". Wander through our natural park of 3 hectares taking breaks along the way in sitting areas with benches.
I rent in July until mid September only Saturday to Saturday

We did spend a wonderful week in Castino and just had the best time.
We went with our whole family and the setting couldn‘t have been more perfect for us all. The house, courgeous garden and pool was perfect and fulfilled our needs in any aspect. We did some great excursions to Alba, had drinks in Neive, visited Aqui (some by bike!!) etc. A great area, with so many options and a perfect location in every way - will be back!

A wonderful hideaway with incredible views across the valley, while also having one or two conveniences helpfully on the doorstep. Village has a general store, newspaper shop, a couple of cafes, a lunchtime trattoria and a busy pizzeria, as well as a small delicatessen with some superb regional specialities. If you want more choice in shopping and dining, Alba is only half an hour away and has a delightful centre. Local housekeeper was extremely helpful with any small issues. Beautiful, unspoilt part of the country. It happened to be extremely hot while we were there, but the old stone kept the downstairs especially cool. Rambling layout would make especially good base for combined family holidays. A la prossima!

We had a fantastic week with 2 families during which we enjoyed the wonderful house and some of the many possible activites that the region offers. The house is perfect and we felt at home immediately. Suzanne and the care takers very friendly and over the top helpful with tips on the area. They did more than necessary to get us settled in. We felt very welcome.

Castino is a charming Italian village and the villa of Suzanne has everything you need for a perfect stay. A wonderful pool, an endless view on the surrounding hills, different locations to sit, eat and relax in the huge garden area and the housekeeper Mary cares for everything you need. We had a wonderful family holiday in the villa (with 4 kids who especially enjoyed the pool and the garden). The villa is very well equipped with several TV, Wlan, Lavazza coffee machine etc. and has a kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own italian dishes. Hiking between grapes and hazelnut on the famous hills of Piedmont, italian beaches near Savona and eating in several of the agriturismo were things we did during our stay. We definitely recommend the villa for small and bigger groups of people and are already planning our stay for the next year. Thank you very much Suzanne for the wonderful stay in Castino !
