Spirit Hotel Benalmadena Beach

I travelled to Benalmadena with my partner and we received a very warm welcome from the reception staff upon arrival. Even though we were checking in late (around midnight), we didn't have to wait a minute for someone to attend to us. Shortly, we received the key to the room and took one of many lifts to our floor. The hotel is extremely clean and neat. How surprised we were when we entered the room - rose petals, prosecco, towel swans and hearts, heart-shaped balloon and handwritten notes all over the room! This truly melted our hearts and was an unforgettable beginning of our Spanish adventure. The room was extremely clean and modern yet spacious. The furniture was in great shape and the shower was huge! Definitely a highlight of our stay. I really liked the idea of having 2 sinks with a huge mirror outside the bathroom. It made our morning prep special. The bed was very comfortable, at times we didn't feel like leaving it. Now, the balcony - truly sensational, another highlight of the stay! The views were mesmerising, we were able to see both the coastline and the city. Morning coffee on those balconies is a must! Although evenings are stunning too... There was a useful hair dryer in the room, a fridge (which we used a lot!) and a TV. Room temperature can be controlled via a thermostat. There was also a full-length mirror. Now, for the best part of our stay - our room was cleaned everyday! There isn't a better feeling than sleeping in a freshly made bed every night. With this being said, I'd like to thank our cleaning crew: Lorund, Maria and Flov. You truly made our stay extra special and comfortable! Lastly, all staff was lovely and always willing to help. At the end of our stay, the check-out was very quick and we were able to leave our bags with the reception for thelast few hours. Spirit hotel will definitely be our place to stay when we come back to Benalmadena! I truly can't recommend it enough :) it has exceeded all of our expectations.

Breakfast could've been improved, there was a small selection of cheeses and meats. However, there was a huge selection of milks (lactose-free, gluten-free, plant alternatives), which is fantastic. The pool is on a colder side and it does get quite crowded at peak times. The jacuzzi was out of use.

Our apartment was on the side of the building and there is a very noisy road nearby! Do not go on the roadside unless you are deaf !
