About this farm stay rental
Delightful farmhouse (190 m2), recently restored maintaining and enhancing the traditional rustic style. The property, consisting of two apartments, is immersed in the green Mugello valley in a panoramic location.
Perfect for people who love trekking and mountain biking, this location offers absolute peace and tranquillity while also within easy distance of Florence and many other art towns and cities.
The house is spread over two floors and offers comfortable, rustic-style furnishings.
Guests can enjoy a large, well-equipped garden with a fenced, figure-of-eight-shaped pool (8m by 4.6m, depth 1.3m) and outdoor jacuzzi for 6 people. There is also a large gazebo with table and chairs for al fresco dining with barbecue and bread oven.
Private parking. The house is 9km from Borgo San Lorenzo (for all day-to-day necessities), 22km from Florence, 20km from the Barberino Designer Outlet and Lake Bilancino (canoing, sailing, windsurfing), 15km from the Poggio dei Medici golf club, 12km from a riding stables.
Access to the property is via a 250m concrete uphill road, therefore we advise against sports cars or vehicles with low ground clearance.

F.F.: 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower, mezzanine with 2 single beds.
The following might be to be paid extra: Electricity, Final Cleaning, Heating, Refundable Security Deposit in cash or by credit card, Tourist tax.

We had a wonderful vacation in the toscana woods with four adults and two kids (3 and 5 years). The place is in the heart of the nature, in the hills, 15 minutes from Borgo San Lorenzo (centrum). In Podere La Vigna we could relax a lot and it is very calm there. The swimmingpool is clean and also good for swimming and surrounded by a fence to keep the children away. We loved the huge table sitting outside which is protected from the sun. The house is separated into two apartments with separated entries. Overall, the inventory of the kitchen was good, but could have some more cleaning. Also the bedrooms. The fridge in the kitchen is very old and could be changed. Most of the time, we had no internet reception. The wooden planks surrounding the pool are a little bit loose. Is was very difficult for us to get up the hill by car (we both have a Skoda Octavia). But the owner was very friendly offering us a special car. He came to us every 3-4 days to clean the pool. Also a room cleaning service came every 3 days. Overall, we would love to come back again <3
