Really nice and staff very professional and attentive to any request.
Good value for a property close to town centre.
Walking distance to centre 25 min or 5 min by bus.
Parking on site.

We arrived early and were welcomed by the reception staff. The entrance of the hotel was bright and clean and this was present throughout the hotel. Car parking was sorted efficiently and we had a drink while waiting to check in.
All staff were friendly and helpful. Service was of high standard. Breakfast had a good choice of cooked breakfast items, continental, pastries, drinks which were replenished when needed. The restaurant had a good choice of meals and snacks which could be ordered to the room for a small charge.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

The room was quiet and entirely adequate, with a powerful shower in the bathroom.
The shower-curtain was on the other hand rather too small, so that the bathroom floor got wet. Fortunately there was good underfloor heating. Some of the front desk staff were helpful, others less so.

The main radiator did not work, so a small portable heater was supplied. When the the chain of the toilet was flushed a loud noise, presumably from the cistern was made. It was very loud for about 13-30secs. This can’t have been a new thing, but we reported it anyway.
