Split Old Town Rooms Matushko

I spoke to Anita before and during our stay and she was so friendly and helpful! She answered any questions I had, and sent us her online guide which contained information about the room, her recommendations for restaurants and activities in Split which was really helpful. The breakfast was lovely, and the beds were comfortable, the location was fantastic. The air con worked well.

We were on the fourth floor which was hard to carry all our luggage up, but we managed! The bathroom sometimes smelt a bit weird, and was also very hot.

The breakfast was amazing in the amazing place with the best view of Splits waterfront. A perfect way to start the day. Highly recommended! The owner Anita always answers questions about everything we asked for afterwards.

Anita is an amazing host, always there to help. The apartment on the first floor is stunning in the middle of the old town and very clean, very well equipped kitchen. There's lots of restaurants and cafes around the house. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at many locations that were host driven and Anita is bar far the best! She has payed unbelievable attention to detail! I thought I was extremely organized and done extensive research when it comes to research on my trips and she is above and beyond. She is basically your travel agent as well. She not only checks in on you to make sure there is anything you need but she has also gone above and beyond to provide you with every detail you may have missed. She provides you with an extremely detailed, user friendly mobile guidbook with places to eat, excursions to take, where to store luggage before or after your stay, which we used after our stayuntil our ferry was ready and much more. She has items you would have missed on your own. Truly fantastic! Thank you again Anita!

Nothing. Everything was wonderful! I know some complain about the stairs but you are in Croatia! There are going to be stairs wherever you go.
