This was the best unattended hotel experience I’ve ever had. Communion from the way describing to checkout 5*!
The room was spacious and clean, equipped with water cooker/ coffee machine and fridge. Air conditioning. Sufficient amount of hangers! :-)
It’s in the middle of historic site. Full of tourists, so don’t expect a very quiet room. But it’s unique to live over the street pedestrians pass. We enjoyed it!
Standing up at 7.30 gave us a possibility to have Peristil for ourselves!

The host was responsive and answered all my questions quickly. Super helpful. Really appreciated help finding a ride to the airport super early in the morning.
Not a big deal but higher quality towels would be nice.

The location was unbeatable, it was right next to the centre of Diocletian's Palace. The room was spacious and I really liked the decor. The bed was very soft (too soft for me) but I know other people this may be pleasant for. The bedding and towels were high quality.
I never saw any staff, there was a small reception but I never saw anyone on it, due to this I had a few problems.
When checking-in I had an issue with the lock box used to store the key, the staff were very quick to respond and finally I was able to enter my room after a phone call. However, on exiting I let the staff know (over the same WhatsApp chat) that I would be checking out in the morning (7am) and needed to know what to do with my key (as the online system said to put it back in the lock box using the same passcode). The person on the other end didn't seem to understand my issue and I was never given an answer where to leave my key. I eventually took it upon myself to leave the key in the room as I needed to leave to catch my flight. No one ever responded as to whether this was ok to do.
Although the hotel seemed clean to begin, I did find multiple dark, curly hairs (in the bed and the shower). My hair is blonde and straight so these couldn't have been mine. The room was turned down once whilst I was there (4 nights)
