About this villa rental
The Farmhouses La Principessa (independent house with 4 bedrooms) is located a few kilometers from Lucca, on the Hill of Montecarlo, an ancient, medieval hamlet sourrounded by olive trees and vineyards.
Both houses come from the restauration of a rural, tuscan farm, a plae where you can discover the unique life and architectural style of Tuscany, perfectly blended to all modern comforts.
Sourrounded by the countryside, both residences have a well-equipped kitchen (with fires and electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, electric boiler, american coffe machine, italian moka coffe machine and microwave), relax area, TV, wi-fi, ari conditionning and double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
The gardens all around are independent and equipped with sunchairs, tables, chairs and barbecue. The sweimming pool is located a few meters from the houses and the access is only allowed to our guests, who can enjoy the panoramic pool using sunumbrella, sunchairs and sunbeds dedicated and sanitized in respect of security and distances roules.
During your stay you can enjoy the unspoled nature, the peace of the hllside and our activities proposed, like the tour the the Estate, the visit to our olive oil mill, the tasting of our wines and extra virgin olive oils directly produced!
La PRINCIPESSA is an independent Tuscan Villa with private gardens and entrance, a wide and sunny open space with direct access to the garden, kitchen-living room, cozy relax area with view and four double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and shower, located on the ground floor (two) and on the first floor (two). The bright open space includes sofas, TV and a well-equipped kitchen. The house interiors maintain the unique, architectural, traditional Tuscan style.
The gardens, surrounded by our olive groves, are equipped with sunchairs, table, chairs and barbecue, is the perfect place where to enjoy the slow pace of our Tuscan hills.
The swimming pool, where to enjoy the panoramic view on our olive groves and Montecarlo hill, is open from May to October and it is located a few meters from the house.

The farmhouse was perfect for our stay! The layout, with a bathroom for each bedroom, wide open gathering spaces, and a workable kitchen made for a very comfortable stay for us, our adult kids and toddler granddaughter. The farmhouse decor was lovely, and the grounds and pool allowed for plenty of space for relaxation. We very much enjoyed the olive oil tour and tasting, dinner at the associated restaurant, and the easy access to the town of Montecarlo. We did drive to convenient parking to visit the town, because of the winding, hilly road. It is a lively medieval town, with great options for restaurants and strolling the quaint streets. We took day trips to visit Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre, the Garfagnana mountain area, and Siena. Communication before and during the trip with Arianna was super helpful! This stay truly made for a magical family experience.

We had wonderful time exploring Tuscany and retreating back to this quaint Italian farm house in Montecarlo. We took day trips to Lucca, Pisa, and Florence. Our host Arianna offered us excellent recommendations on where to park and what to see… we were so thankful for the great advice. The farm house was very clean and very charming with the authentic Italian decor! The rooms are very spacious. The beds and bedding were comfortable and the en suites were very nice. We also spent time in Montecarlo, which is within walking distance but is up hill. There is also parking at the top. It was one of our favorite places! Great food, a few some shops, and surprisingly a good brewery! We loved the restaurant on site of the property and enjoined sampling and drinking the local wine!

It was very nice, house could use some small improvements a clock in the bedrooms and a small dresser a medicine cabinet or something to store toiletries in the bathroom .Arianna was unbelievable she took care of any issue immediately.

Lovely spacious home with plenty of room and beautiful kitchen/baths. Room outside for kids to run around which was so needed after Rome. The little walled city of Montecarlo is definitely worth a visit while there. We also ate at the owners restaurant and enjoyed it!
