About this house rental
The "Trappolina" is a holiday home south of Capoliveri with a fantastic view over the sea, the Gulf of Stella and the headland of Lacona. The south-west exposure allows unforgettable sunsets! It is quietly situated on a slope in the midst of vineyards. You can reach 3 different beaches and Capoliveri on foot in about 20 minutes. In high summer there is a Navetta, a small bus that takes you to the beaches or to Capoliveri all day and into the night, if you don't feel like walking or using the car.
Large, partly covered terraces on three sides, outdoor shower (hot and cold), garden barbecue, parking space, WLAN, fly screens. Living area approx. 80 sqm, large living room with open kitchen, 3 bedrooms (each with 2 beds, possibly a large bed for a third child can be added), cot, bathroom.
Our friends have raised the roof of the house and added extensions at the back and sides. This flat is now also rented out, so it is well suited for arriving with friends or more people, the upper flat is for 3-4 people + max. one baby.
However, the terraces and outdoor shower of Trappolina 1 are protected from view, among other things by orange and lemon trees. The terrace of the upper flat is also not visible from the outside. The house is also suitable for the winter months and has (readable) central heating.

The island and especially the area around Capoliveri is also popular with mountain bikers and cyclists, even in the early season.
Hiking: When Monte Capanne (the highest mountain on the island) is visible in the morning and not covered in clouds, it is an absolute must to climb it, hike it or, if necessary, take the chairlift! There are also wonderful walks around Monte Calamita near Capoliveri, most of them with a direct view of the sea!
Going to the Trappolina on Elba once a year is like having soup without salt! We have loved the house for many years and enjoy our stay from the first minute!!! It's quiet, you can go on excursions (you'll get tips from us and our Italian friends), eat well, and the best thing is to stay on the terrace and look out to sea!

Das Haus ist erstklassig gepflegt, liebevoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Man hat sofort das Gefühl, hier zu Hause zu sein. Die Küche verfügt neben einem Gasherd sogar über ein in Ferienhäusern eher selten vorzufindendes Backrohr und auf dem hinteren Teil der Terrasse gibt es einen gemauerten Grill.
Die Trappolina ist ein Feriendomizil, welches für uns absolut keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die Lage des Hauses, so nahe am malerischen Städtchen Capoliveri und an den Wanderwegen auf und um den Monte Calamita ist für uns ideal und man kann vom Haus aus mehrere schöne Strände in kürzester Zeit erreichen.
Wir konnten das Frühstück auf der zum Teil überdachten, riesigen Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer genießen und haben Stunden damit verbracht, vom lauschigen Plätzchen unter den Olivenbäumen in den Tag zu träumen. Der große Garten beinhaltet eine Vielzahl von inseltypischen Blumen und Bäumen.
Das absolute Highlight der Anlage ist die gemauerte Außendusche, die einen grandiosen Ausblick auf den gepflegten Garten und den „Golfo di Stella“ bietet.
Unsere Autos hatten direkt im Bereich des Gartens einen sicheren Standplatz und unsere Hunde fühlten sich auf dem großen Grundstück sichtlich wohl.
Bei den im oberen Stock wohnenden Besitzern handelt es sich um ein ausgesprochen liebes, älteres Ehepaar, das sich sehr nett um die Gäste kümmert und an Diskretion wohl nicht zu übertreffen ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wir werden so bald wie möglich wiederkommen.
