About this chalet rental
Walk in and feel at home straight away! Our family calls it "EasyWorld" as it sounds like the village name "Iseltwald" and life there is just so easy in every way. It is warm (both in feel and temperature), spacious, incredibly cosy, the big bath is always calling your name and you can always find a spot to feel comfortable in even when there are many of you. Games, cooking, chilling, TV watching, book reading, view gazing, skiing, swimming, hiking...it is all possible and it is just so EASY!!!
Stay in our penthouse chalet with four wrap around balconies in a village that is regularly voted as one of the most beautiful in Switzerland. The three double rooms have king sized beds and en-suite bathrooms. Upstairs you can find a spacious kids room with 2 single beds and 2 pull out comfy mattresses on a base. The mezzanine also has a single bed and allows a great view on the space itself. It is incredibly warm, the views have been described as mesmerising (by my nephew) and it is just an incredibly comfy spot to be in. We find it offers the best of both worlds depending on what you wish for. Whether it be extensive skiing domains and adrenaline filled activities and/or gentle walks, amazing scenery, restaurants and chilling out. Our family have owned it since it was built in 2008 and always look forward to being able to recharge our batteries in no time at all in such an amazing setting.
Guests can access all parts of our penthouse apartment except for our Swiss cupboard in the entrance and one area locked up in the attic for our personal belongings. Otherwise, the area is yours to enjoy!
Other things to note:
You will need to use the main house key to access the underground garage. No stress though as there is a small public car park just opposite the garage entrance so you can easily leave your car there whist you pick up the keys when you arrive.

Iseltwald is the perfect location for touring the Alps, hiking, water trips, and actually anything in Switzerland because the Swiss train system is extraordinary! We loved our stay. The home is very accommodating. Some of the information in VRBO needs to be updated (Wi-Fi, Cash required at check-in, No ATM in Iseltwald) but I know that will be fixed by the owner. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay and I would HIGHLY recommend this property.

What a spectacular chalet. The views from the chalet of the lake and the beautiful countryside are so lovely it’s like you are in a postcard. When we arrived the inside was immaculate with plenty of everything in the fully stocked kitchen. There are games and books and plenty of places to sit large groups of people, We comfortably fit 7 people with room for a few more. Beds were comfy and there are 2 outdoor tables and plenty of extra seating to overlook the magnificent lake. There is a little corner store down the road and we LOVED the gorgeous outdoor restaurant Seegarten! Check in instructions were easy and the piople helping very friendly. The host is extremely responsive and helpful, we would DEFINITELY return again!
