Find Serenity in a historic Swiss village nestled between turquoise Lake Brienz and majestic mountains. Brienz Villa on Alpgasse is a stylish home with truly breathtaking views and is ideal for family gatherings. The private patio with outdoor fireplace and covered dining area is a place you will want to linger; it's not just a place to sleep, but a home to truly enjoy. It is a 5 min walk to swimming spots, grocery store, and lakeside restaurants, and 12 min to the ferry/train station. Four bedrooms upstairs sleep 8 persons, a lower level bedroom and sofa bed sleeps 4 more. Treat yourself to the luxury of a relaxing vacation and discover the Bernese Oberland from here!
Parking for up to 4 cars, outdoor garden table and corner bench, fireplaces outside and in the living room, well-equipped kitchen, separate dining room with lake views, spacious sofa area with TV, large bedrooms, home office desk, washer/dryer, fast wifi, kayak, and grill. Feel a warm welcome from this family-owned vacation home and be assured of the family-oriented treatment of our staff.
All the furnishings are new, allergy friendly and of excellent quality. For your privacy, all room have curtains and shutters. On the main floor is the spacious entrance area, guest bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and large living room with a 65 inch TV and a fireplace. The kitchen is well-equipped (including microwave, raclette, fondue, rice cooker, kettle, Nespresso machine, milk foamer). From the kitchen and living room you have direct access to the large private patio with a stunning view of Lake Brienz and surrounding mountains! Enjoy the 2 sun loungers, as well as the covered seating area and the outdoor fireplace. 4 bedrooms are on the upper floor. 1 bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is accessible to all. 1 room has its own bathroom with corner bath, shower, toilet and 2 washbasins. 3 bedrooms have a balcony with a view of the lake and mountains. The downstairs apartment has a fifth bedroom and living room with sofa bed, 55 inch TV and its own garden terrace. On request we provide a baby bed for toddlers up to 3 years old and a high chair. It fits in every room.
The washing machine and dryer are in the basement.
There is a surveillance video camera outside the house, for your safety and for the protection of the house.
Stroll through the charming Brienz village to view the artisanal wood-carvings and historic chalets, or explore the outskirts and enjoy spectacular lake and mountain views. It is a 5 minute walk to charming Brunngasse, Migros, and the pedestrian friendly lakeshore promenade where one can go for a refreshing swim or dine in numerous restaurants. The Coop, train station, ferry stop, and historic steam train Brienzer Rothornbahn are a 12 minute walk away. Enjoy beautiful hiking directly from the house, or take a short drive to Brienz's outdoor Ballenberg museum. The historic Lake Brienz ferry ride can take you to Iseltwald ( greetings to fellow CLOY fans), Giessbach Falls, and Interlaken. Drive the scenic route along the lake to Interlaken for shopping, spa, skydiving, golf, horse riding and much more. Visit other towns or go skiing in Grindelwald, Hasliberg orAxalp. There is simply too much to do to list everything!

Our family loved this place! Comfortable arrangements, close proximity to Lauterbrunnen/Grindlewald area but nice and quiet. The first evening we were there we heard the alpenhorns being played and walked down to the lakeside to find a group of 10 people in traditional dress playing. It was magical.

We found this lovely home to be perfect for our large family. We traveled with our two adult sons and their families. We all had our own comfortable bedrooms and well appointed bathrooms. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The view is out of this world. We enjoyed every minute in this meticulously clean, well appointed home. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with. We highly recommend this home and plan to return.

All family and friends enjoyed our 4 night stay at this house. This is our first time Visit to Swiss and we are new to this location.
Host communicated with all the details on how to reach to the house and what to do around that location and closed shopping and dinning details etc.
Overall our stay in this house nothing but all positive.
