Lovely apartment in a perfect little town a stones throw from Oxford.
All utilities that one would need and two comfortable double bedrooms
Entrance isnt iteal with kids and prams etc but management and sofa was very uncomfortable

The apartment block was quiet and the other residents respectful of the no noise after 9pm rule.
Great central location close to Abingdon town centre
I highly recommend breakfasts at R&R and a visit to Mostly Books around the corner.
There's buses regularly into Oxford from just round the corner every 20mins.
There were a few issues that the renter assures me will be addressed so I won't go into them here because overall the flat was a good standard.
However, one thing future guests should note is that there is a rule prohibiting anyone additional from entering the flat (monitored via cctv at the entrance) and also no noise after 9pm. So maybe this place is better for people on business trips by themselves than a family on holiday.
We have a young child so couldn't really keep them up late sat in a pub/restaurant. But we also have friends in Abingdon/Oxford and it would have been nice to invite them in for a coffee during the daytime or a quiet gathering in the evening. I think this undermined the flexibility we were expecting from a self-catered apartment.
Also, if you have a car then free parking becomes a bit of a logistical puzzle during the daytime. You can park for free overnight but would then need to either move the car to further away or pay to leave the car in one place.
