Nettes Apartement, gute Lage und im Sommer angenehm kühl. Ausstattung ist ausreichend, die Röume sind grosszügig.

Die Infomappe ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die infos/ Handhabung zur CityTax war unnötig kompliziert.

Doorknobs club was tricky

The apartment was spacious, tidy, had everything you need. Comfortable bed, clean everywhere. Most importantly, very good location, everything is reachable in a few minutes. Quiet. It was convenient that there were instructions in the room for taking out the trash, it helped a lot, because every morning the trash was collected from the door.

The location is superb for a few reasons. 1. It is not in the frenzy of rialto, or San Marco. The location is excellent if you are inVenezia for the biennale, or you are going to a conference on the lido( the Arsenale vaporetto stop is about 2 minutes away, and three stops to the lido (where the congresses and conferences are held), and walking distance to P. San Marco. Thus a participant and a spouse are both in excellent positions for enjoying a conference, or Venice. 2. You can easily get to Murano without chani g Vaporetti,or to San giorgio and Giudecca, by walking over two bridges to San Marca zaccharia. 3. Grocery shopping and eTing at superb restos is close at hand. Via Garibaldi is close with restos (Navodi, salumeria), and the Coop for groceries, as well as a do Pozzi or Al covo, which are both in walking distance. 4. The Biennnali. Issues that might be deal breakers for sone people. The apartment is on the ground floor and dark. If you are planning to cook, the kitchen is not well equipped with utensil, or baking items, although there is a 4 burner stove and oven.. Dealing with garbage is a pain. Other than that things are good. It is super quiet, and really dark. You could sleep til noon……not a good idea in Venice. Questions are answered quickly through whatsapp. One thing to remember, there is no organized numbering system i. venice. Each sestriere ( you will be in Castello) has its own numbering system that has not much to do with the streets( or Calle). So make sure if you are using gos or soneother route finder to put in Castello first befor the streets or number. Issuest

I found it difficult to move the setting for the heat. I found the darkness an issue, but I have SAD, and it was early March. The garbage is a pain. You have to plan carefully and go early in the morning to get rid of the garbage. It is not on the island where you are. You have a cross a bridge ( toward San Marco,) and turn into the first street and follow the signs to the WC to get there. It does not take long g but you have to go there before 8:00
