Location was very central both for Hove shops and down to the seafront. 5 minutes to Hove station. The flat was roomy with 2 bedrooms and a sitting room. Kitchen and bathroom all fine. The hosts responded immediately to the problem of a hairdryer being missing.
The exterior of the property was a bit off-putting, could be made to look a bit neater and nicer and more welcoming.

Flat is very convenient for our purposes. Close to shops and transport links. Found a lovely pub at the end of the road to eat at. However if you need to cook the kitchen has everything you need. Situated in a residential area so very quiet and peaceful. Close to large Tesco and local shops Host is easy to contact and quickly resolved an issue we had with not having any hot water when we arrived.
Free wi-fi is a big plus. Owner is available 24 hours and very pleasant to speak to. Clean bedding and plenty of towels for each guest . Large walk in shower
Had initially contacted the owner, when I booked, via booking.com to enquire about a check in time unfortunately there was no response to this message . Sent a whats app message when we arrived in Brighton and then had to ring them to find out what the check in times were and how to access the keys. The lack of initial response to the booking.com message was a bit concerning.
A couple of times there was a smell of cigarette smoke lingering assume this is from the downstairs flat ,which is not very pleasant.
Beds are comfy but soft. We prefer a firmer mattress but that is personal choice not a criticism just an observation for future guests

Location was good and value for money
Beds weren’t comfy. Perhaps we are used to sleep on a firmer bed. And pillows were too high for us but again perhaps we are used to use low pillow otherwise all good
