Escape to the gorgeous Rocky Mountains to this beautiful cabin alongside the lake. The serenity of waking up to nature every day is too good to miss! Rent a boat and take it out on the lake to ride and fish all day, or drive into town to discover local eateries, arts, entertainment, shops, and family-friendly attractions.
Inside you'll find a bright interior with a vast vaulted ceiling and a warm and welcoming feeling throughout the space. The living area is cozy and perfect for movie night on the large TV beside the wood-burning stove. Prepare grand meals or lake picnic snacks in the lovely gourmet kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and a floating island breakfast bar. Each bedroom is comfortable and spacious, with room for personal effects, and most have TVs for private viewing. Dine alfresco on the enormous porch with comfortable furniture, a porch swing, and grills for barbecue. Watch the stars come out while around the firepit and make memories that'll last a lifetime.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This was a second house as part of a 29 person family reunion. We have family that have a home nearby so we didn’t need this house for much, mostly sleeping. A few little things that weren’t great which is why I’m giving it a 4-star. I wish they had listed more amenities. I ended up having to reach out several times asking questions. Like was there a coffee maker. Yes, there is one and it’s a regular coffee maker on one side and a single cup on the other. It’s a Keurig so it takes k-cups too. The bedrooms are very small so having luggage out can prove to be difficult. One of the bedrooms in the pictures on the listings looks like the bed sits on the floor so I had to reach out about that. They confirmed it did so we opted not to have our 80 year old mother sleep at this house however, once we checked in and saw the room, it was now on a bed frame. And finally, the beds were not the most clean beds. Some of the beds just didn’t get cleaned all the way or even made properly. I was also very surprised that there were no mattress covers on the bed. The mattresses were not in great shape either. For a house to sleep in, it worked just fine. It has lovely features and has a nice cabin feel. There are just some high expectations when you pay a premium cost.

We stayed here after our Sandpoint home was cancelled due to a broken furnace. We came to ski at Schweitzer. The beds were all comfortable, pillows were all good (this never happens), lots of extra blankets. Very cozy, especially with the wood burning stove! If you visit in the winter during a snow storm, bring chains and a tow strap. House is about 45 min to Schweitzer in winter driving conditions and about 20 min from Sandpoint. HUGE deck. House isn’t huge but it fit our group of 12 perfectly!!!!!
