We found this B&B type hotel no less than Holiday Inn Express in terms of room size, cleanliness, and facilities. I wasnt expecting to have not just tea and coffee facilities but biscuits for all guests, iron, iron stand etc in such a hotel. The breakfast was brilliant! The only thing I would suggest the owner to have 2 people in the kitchen for breakfast. The lady serving quite a few guests by herself did a brilliant job but we felt sorry for her seeing her too busy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much.

Hotel undergoing some refurbishment but the work does not impact on you in any way.

My stay at the Gateway Hotel was a pleasant one, the room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable. The en suite was a good size . Breakfast was good value with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I look forward to staying there again.
