We stayed in this room for a total of 4 nights, and we will absolutely never stay at this hotel again.
The Room:
The space was acceptable, but the floors were so old they creaked every time we stepped on them, even causing the wooden chairs to wobble slightly. It is obvious the wooden floor is not well maintained.
The Bathroom:
This was the worst part. During showers, the water temperature would fluctuate wildly—dropping to freezing cold and then suddenly becoming scalding hot. This constant switching between hot and cold happened every 30 to 40 seconds. It was necessary to time the fluctuations just to know when the temperature would change. It is difficult to imagine having to deal with that kind of mental stress just to take a shower.
Housekeeping:
This was mind-boggling. The floors were never cleaned during our stay. Scraps of paper that were on the floor on day one stayed there until our check-out.
Management & Staff:
Staff training and communication are seriously lacking. The front desk mistakenly thought the stay ended after the third night, even though the booking was for four. On the fourth day morning, while at breakfast before packing, valuables—including phones, tablets, jewelry, skincare products, and handbags—were still out on the desk and bed.
Upon returning, it was discovered that housekeeping had already entered and "finished" cleaning. They had simply folded the bedding over the belongings and moved personal items, stuffing them into bags without permission. This felt like a violation of privacy; these are personal belongings, and the staff has no right to handle or move private property like that. This is clearly a result of poor hotel training.
Breakfast:
Very mediocre. Quality at 3-star hotels has been better than this.
There was also an incident that during breakfast time, a staff was doing a planting at the restaurant and spilt out some mug and dirts around which was really not a good hygiene practice.
Summary:
This hotel is rated 4 stars, but the experience did not even live up to a 3-star standard. We have seen many people praise and give high scores for this hotel. However, maybe because we have stayed comparatively longer time, we experienced differently.
