About this cottage rental
We offer heavenly holiday accommodation in our lovingly restored cottage nestled in the heart of the stunning, emerald Soca Valley. Situated in the quiet village of Ciginj, this lovingly restored cottage is designed to make your holiday the holiday you dreamed of.
With a lounge/kitchen and two en-suite bedrooms, Stone Cottage is the perfect holiday home. Fully equipped for those guests who wish to self cater, and convenient for a number of local bars and restaurants for those who wish to sample the local wines and cuisine.
The cottage is fully furnished to a very high standard and comes complete with linen and towels, including river towels, and a selection of English language books and DVDs, so you only need to bring yourselves. Several past guests have commented on the artwork around the walls, designed to make you feel 'home from home'.
The lounge is beautifully furnished with a door to the terrace, underfloor heating, open plan stairs, TV, radio, CD player, and DVD player.
Integral to the lounge is the kitchen with comfortable dining for four, hob, convector microwave, fridge, storage and all cutlery and crockery, and utensils.
The surrounding area is predominantly wooded hillsides and mountains threaded through by the most beautiful Slovenian crystal water streams and rivers, making the area a perfect destination for either an activity holiday or a peaceful, relaxing break.
The area is famous for walking, hiking, fly fishing, and for the more adventurous guests, kayaking, white water rafting, biking, and paragliding
Close by is one of Slovenia's largest wine producing regions, Goriska Brda, which shares a border with Italy. Guests can leisurely explore the hills and vineyards and sample the produce of the vintners.

Obwohl sich die Vermieter im Ausland befanden, sind wir freundlich empfangen worden. Es war alles perfekt organisiert. Es stand sogar ein Begrüßungskorb mit Wein, Käse und anderen guten Dingen auf dem Küchentisch. Das schöne kleine Haus war äußerst sauber und gepflegt. Von den freundlichen Nachbarn wurden wir mit selbst gefangenem Fisch versorgt.

Ein herrlich kleines Häuschen im Herzen des Soca Tals. Von hier aus war alles was wir sehen wollten schnell zu erreichen. Leider ist das Haus sehr hellhörig, das war mit Kindern etwas anstrengend. Aber tolle und ruhige Lage. Mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.

Man kann dieses Haus einfach nur weiterempfehlen, es ist mit so viel Liebe eingerichtet und bis ins kleinste Detail einfach nur eine Überraschung! Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt, von der ersten Sekunde an. Der liebevolle Begrüßungskorb u der Wein u das Bier im Kühlschrank haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt.
Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit, dieses Haus werden wir nie vergessen!!!!
