This hotel was just off the main street of Avignon and so close to the city centre train station. Absolutely fantastic location. The owner was absolutely lovely and helped me with everything from train connections to routes for walking and dinner options. I would book again.
My only challenge (which I already know is common in France) is that there is no lift and the stairs are particularly tricky for getting luggage up and down. I brought too much. :) So, it was a challenge, but did not detract from the wonderful stay that I had in Avignon.

The amenities are not there. 3 stars hotel have much more than 2 small bags of combined shampoo and body wash. Towels are off white. It is 1 star hotel worth
