At the exit of Barbentane, typical village of Provence, the Mas de la Vanade awaits you for your stay. The Montagnette which touches the village offers a very pleasant environment. You will appreciate its beautiful old furniture and its neat decoration, its dining area under the arbor, its charming swimming pool of 4m / 5m which will refresh you in summer. 15 minutes from the Alpilles and Saint Remy de Provence. The owners Marie Claire and Christian live on site. They will be at your disposal for any question or request during your stay.

We (a family of three) spent a wonderful week at Marie-Claire and Christian’s place in Barbentane. The house is charming, tastefully decorated with great attention to detail, and equipped with everything you might need. The peaceful location, the beautiful garden, and the lovely pool made our stay absolutely perfect – especially during the hot days. The beds are very comfortable, and we slept wonderfully, which made the whole experience even more relaxing.Marie-Claire and Christian are incredibly kind, warm, and helpful – you immediately feel welcome. We truly enjoyed our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this house.

Stunning property. The pool was very welcome as it was very hot when we were there; the fans in the bedrooms were needed at night! Christian and Marie-Claire were wonderful hosts that kept everything running smoothly while giving us privacy. The fruit and vegetable stands close to the property were amazing and the butcher store in the village was great as well. The apartment itself was very beautiful, authentic and well-decorated! We would recommended it wholeheartedly - our 9 and 14 year old girls especially loved the pool!

We had a wonderful 9-day experience living in this charming renovated farmhouse. Our hosts, who live adjacent, were a delightful, and talented couple (he has a tribute band and she is an art restorer with her own art in a museum show!) who gave us privacy yet were available for whatever we needed.

The house, pool and entire grounds are very beautiful and I would say it is a great choice for couples or people with older children. We had our 18 month old with us and I would say if you have an active toddler (less than 2 years) I would not recommend. Our little boy threw small stones in the pool a few times (despite us trying to stop him in time), and the one time we didn't get to them before the owner saw, she was furious which left our whole party feeling very harassed and uncomfortable for the remainder of our stay. I want to add we retrieved all of them with the pool scoop, this was the one time we didn't get to them before the owner saw. So as I say, I cannot fault the property itself, the owners were very welcoming with drinks when we first arrived which was lovely, and I would definitely recommend to people without young children as that is the only area of contention which caused issues for us. For anyone with a toddler I would consider elsewhere.
