The location in Bury St Edmunds was ideal - easy walking distance from the town and its main places of interest. The apartment itself was fine for a couple of nights.
The arrival experience was poor. The instructions for getting into the property were inaccurate; it took us a while to work it out and entry was through an alley littered with abandoned furniture and equipment (vacuum cleaner, TV) where the bins were kept, up a fire escape staircase.
The bed wasn't very comfortable.
There was no welcome pack with info about the property (heating system, etc) and there was no parking pass, as described. There were a few random screws and fixings around the place and the under-sink shelves that had a paint brush and other evidence of maintenance in the bathroom, hadn't been cleaned.

Fabulous location, lovely comfortable apartment.
The property description didn’t make it clear that this was a first floor apartment, accessed via an external metal staircase, which was totally unsuitable for our needs (injured dog, can’t do stairs, we had to carry him, and although we’re very spritely and lively, we’re in our 60s and it was not easy). If we’d known this beforehand, we would never have booked this apartment. There was no hair dryer, which I find unbelievable in this day and age, we had been given the wrong code for the key safe, and the parking description implied it was much easier than it was, so I would advise anyone to work out where the nearest long stay car parks are before you get to the property.
