About this apartment rental
Welcome to the 'Villa la Loire'. This charming studio apartment with a direct view of the fortification of the castle and tower Minimes will charm you with its calm, its proximity to the Loire (50 meters) and private space flowered laurel. The house itself dates from the 17th century (some say 16th) and is in a small street (Rue Louis XI), where there are only two houses (ours and the manor minimal which is one of four hotels * Amboise). Our house and the latter formerly constituted the Congregation des Minimes and we have in our garden the old oratory of the prior of that congregation. The studio has a direct view of the oratory.
The studio consists of a main room with a bed for two people (possible extra bed for a child), a sofa, a coffee table in front of the sofa, a dining table. there is a television. the apartment is equipped with wifi and a small pc
The kitchen is equipped with fridge, mini-oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, toaster, etc.
The bathroom offers a large bathtub and toilet.

Les photos ne trompent pas! Vous trouverez dans ce studio identique aux photos publiées par les propriétaires un confort et un calme que seules les rives de la Loire dégagent. Y ayant passé une semaine, mon mari et moi avons eu la chance de connaître des propriétaires attentifs et donnent aux détails une attention bien historique. Situé dans une ville tellement pleine d'histoire, l'appartement porte bien ces traces car la propriétaire a su marier confort et passé. Nous garderons un souvenir unique de cet endroit voisin du château d'Ambroise.

We had a wonderful time in the Loire Valley thanks to Veronique, Etienne, and Augustin. Veronique was very helpful with great suggestions for bakeries, restaurants, best cheeses, and chateaus to visit. The apartment is in a house at the base of the ramparts of the Amboise castle. Our front door looked out on the Minimes Tower. The whole area is full of French history; Etienne filled us in on the fascinating details. Parking is conveniently located in front of the house and our favorite chateaus (Chenonceaux, Cheverney, Chambord) were a short drive away. Clos Luce is a short hike from this unit.

Nous avons arrivé à Amboise sous une pluie battante mais il y avait un bienvenu très chaleur de Véronique et Etienne.
Nous avons resté dans leur studio qui a une porte d’entrée privatif et une belle vue du Château Royal. Le studio c’était parfait pour nous, avec tous nécessaires pour un séjour agréable et confortable.
Le centre d’Amboise avec le Château et restaurants est cinq minutes a pied et la rivière à deux minutes a pied. C’est une promenade agréable de dix ou quinze minutes au Château du Clos Lucé où Leonardo da Vinci a passé ses derniers ans.
L’endroit est idéal pour visiter la région avec beaucoup d’intéresse de voir et grande histoire.
Nous retournerions avec plaisir.
