Beautiful hotel in red which stands out in a good way. So close to train. Lovely glamorous property. Room well thought out w great beds, linens and windows that open (yay). Not boiling hot like other hotels. Very clean and quiet. Looking forward to breakfast.

Fabulous location. Exceptional surroundings, perfect for exploring the ducal palace and beautifully decked out. Kind attentive staff. Best hotel we stayed in during our Italy trip by a long way - our apartment was huge and super comfortable.

The room was very nice and the view outside spectactular. The breakfast room also very attractive but the breakfast itself was rather average
Our room was very nice but there was a nasty smell in the bathroom. We stayed two nights and reported it to the receptionist (and the cleaner) after the first night. The cleaner did I think spray something in the bathroom but after the second night (without the bathroom fan on at night) a very nasty smell had again built up in the bathroom. I told the receptionist that it didn't seem to be the drains but suggested that it might be a dead mouse in the roof above our room (we were on the top floor). The receptionist was mildly apologetic but we didn't get the feeling that anyone was going to do much about it. The cost was quite expensive and I was surprised that the hotel didn't offer us a different room or some rebate.
