Hotel is on the Piazza Sordello, where the Castello Giorgio and Duomo is, one can see them across the Piazza from the room window. It's on the epic center of the Mantova city center, everything is located within 2minutes of walk, full of restaurants, stores, cafes, etc. because the city is not big, walk to the train station is only 15 minutes. Hotel has an elevator, the building exterior is old, though, the interior is fairly newly renovated. Staff is super nice and friendly and helpful. Breakfast a great value and the breakfast hall is at another historical building within 50 meters, it even has frwacos on the walls, so guests can view the paintings while having the meal, what fantastic! Room is clean and abundently spacious. A big window let in abundent light during the day, however, the good sound proof provides an quiet environment at night for a goodnight sleep.. Noticed some rooms located a few steps of stairs away from the elevator, so one may needs to step on and off these, just in case, consider this is a building with long history, understandable.

Situated within walking distance to both the Palazzos within the UNESCO Site and central to tavernas and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
