Apple Tree Cottage - charming home at beautiful canal in our idyllic garden

As soon as you step through the threshold of THE APPLE TREE COTTAGE, time seems to stand still. It's a rare heaven where the light dances beautifully through the branches and every detail seems to have been thoughtfully chosen. We were soothed by the serenity of the garden and the authentic charm of this house which tells a story. Between breakfast as nature awakens and a peaceful evening, this stay was pure poetry. A precious address that you'd like to keep secret while simultaneously wanting to share it with the world. Thank you Jos and Marleen for this moment of pure bliss.

It’s great having the whole cottage (even though it’s only one up - one down). Lovely and snug and tucked away from the road. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is excellent. The kitchen facilities are fine although we didn’t really use them. It was clean and well equipped. Jos is a lovely host.

Bookers need to be aware that the stairs are very steep (like in many Dutch houses).

Apple tree Cottage is so cute and in a great location to discover Gouda. Marleen and Jos were so friendly and helpful and great hosts.

Location, along a canal near in the old centre of Gouda and also near the train and bus station.an opportunity to spend some time in a characterful cottage in a lovely garden that can be used by the guests. A very comfortable bed, tasteful decoration.

There was a bit of a drain smell in the shower room, but not in the rest of the cottage.
