A disappointing and expensive stay in the tired and noisy Campanile Gouda. Very much motel style, the rooms were in desperate need in updating, however, the location directly next to the motorway probably couldn’t justify it and alternative location would be better with downgrading this to a Première Classe.

The hotel is actually a motel. The room was overly outdated with worn out beds, dirty shower curtains and air flow through the windows. The room was no cleaned, definitely wear slippers if you come in. Hair everywhere, and despite asking for the room to be cleaned, they only changed the garbage bags. I have stayed in dodgy hostels before, but at least the price reflects this. I recommend spending the few euros more for a place closer to the city center.
