All of our needs were met or exceeded for our 1 week escape. The place needed to be quite, comfortable and dog-friendly and we were fully satisfied. It was very special to sit in a 'garden room' where the many windows give you an amazing view over the South Downs. We also took advantage of the wood burner as temp. was still low.
You need to know that quite places come with a price and that is relative remoteness, depending on car and half last mile is single lane.

The accommodation is an annex to the main house. The host met us when we arrived and took time to explain everything, even offering to light the log burner. As it happens we didn't need any additional heating. The rooms were spacious and furnished to a high standard and the kitchen facilities were also of good quality. The bed was very comfortable, as were the sofas. The view was excellent. Although in a very rural location, the nearest town was only 10 minutes away and had everything we needed. Recommended for a two person break.
Although it is only for two people, a few more knives and forks would have useful.
