It was all very maintained, the grounds are beautiful and the hot tubs accessible. All very private. The apartment itself is well equipped and incredibly clean!! Exceptional. All the amenities you need to cook and washing facilities. Amazing views. Lots of lovely extras. Pictures don't do it justice! Giovanni is a passionate and helpful host.

This is truly a hidden gem in a picturesque part of Tuscany. You are close enough to Florence while being able to relax and recharge away from the busyness of the city. Giovanni is incredibly warm and helpful, and he showed exceptional kindness towards our young son. We can’t wait to come back again.

We had such an incredible experience staying at Giovanni’s place in the north of Chianti. From the very first moment we arrived, Giovanni welcomed us with so much warmth and generosity. He invited us to taste his local wines - four glasses of both red and white - along with a delicious aperitivo of local vegetables, mozzarella, prosciutto, salami, and his own olive oil (which is amazing!). It was a wonderful build-up: we started with the lighter, “easier” wines and moved up to his reserves - all presented with so much passion and thought.
He also gave us a tour of the property and showed us his wine and olive oil production - his passion for what he does really shines through. The location itself is breathtaking, surrounded by hills and nature with unforgettable views.
The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing, with plenty of cozy spots to sit and enjoy the scenery. There’s also a pool (which we didn’t use because of the weather) and a hot tub which we did use and was a great way to enjoy the view while staying warm.
Giovanni has thought of every detail to make the stay perfect. He was also incredibly helpful with recommendations - from the best local restaurants and wineries to hiking and biking trails, scenic drives, and even which roads to take (including google maps–ready navigation links). We stayed in Tuscany for two weeks and kept using his recommendations even after we left his property.
This was truly one of the highlights of our trip - the place, the views, and above all, Giovanni’s hospitality. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic Tuscan experience!
