About this cottage rental
There are no other properties on the entire CA coast like this one. A 2br/1.5ba beach cottage. The living room has a sleeper sofa with a memory foam bed, so 5 or 6 can sleep comfortably in total. Close to the other cottage, but still separate for traveling parties of families and friends.
One full acre on the ocean bluff with private gate access to the beach below.
A couple of miles to Hearst Castle, the elephant seals, and downtown Cambria.
We love the peacefulness of the area, the sound of the waves at night, the quiet of the "private" beach, and the amazing destinations that people come from all over the world to see.

My daughter and I and our family stayed at this beautiful beach cottage for five days over New Year’s, and it was simply magnificent. The cottage is so quaint and precious, simple, clean and charming right out of a Dickens novel.We brought our doggies there’s a beautiful lawn in front of the cottage and then just steps away to your own in San Simeon, which was just simply divine and glorious. I walked every morning with my daughter and friends and family over the pebble Stone rocks and through the surf. The weather was spectacular even on the one overcast day it was still beautiful. It’s rustic and rugged and charming and everything you need. Nothing more. We were minutes away from downtown Cambria and the most gorgeous hikes in San Simeon near hurst castle. You can imagine with Vista’s. For endless. Decades. The caretaker Justin was always available if we needed him and check-in was easy and simple. I will definitely be back and hopefully often I fell in love with this little blue cottage and it surroundings and the sweet people of Cambria and San Simeon, I just can’t speak enough about how glorious vacation was this cottage is a 10 plus plus plus I recommended to everyone

First, Justin was an outstanding host. He was very communicative yet very respectful that this was a quiet retreat. Justin‘s place is definitely a labor of love. We appreciated how very clean this place was and that he provided cleaning supplies. There is tons to explore in the area, but, I must admit- wish we had a day to just enjoy this little cottage more. It really is a gem. Thank you Justin!… this was our first time using VRBO,, but out of all the places we’ve visited, your hospitality stood out!
