All the reviews pretty much tell you the negatives and positives. It is an old property and at the ocean so you have mold (back porch) and stuck screens. The garage lights were out. No paper towels but I brought some. The bed was comfortable, which is important. We were looking for a great location and enough room for 4 couples. This was perfect. It was my 70th birthday with all my children so I was very happy. We want to do this every year so that should tell you something! Moonstone Beach is magical!

The house's location is incredible, literally steps from Moonstone Beach. If you are hoping for lots of walks along the beach, this is an ideal location! Within five minutes of walking out the front door, you can be down on the beach getting your feet wet and looking for pebbles, shells, and sea glass. It's a 10-minute walk along the boardwalk to Madeline's on Moonstone for coffee or wine.The house is spacious, clean, and orderly. Two bedrooms upstairs along with living room and kitchen, and two bedrooms downstairs. The furniture and fixtures are basic and lived-in. We had hoped to do movie nights, but since the TV was small and the seating uncomfortable, we didn't spend much time in the living room. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, cookware, and basic appliances. Everything is a bit worn, but functional. Fridge was sparkling clean.Bathrooms are very small, very little counter space. No full length mirror in the house. Towels and bedding were good quality and abundant. Mattresses were new-ish and firm.Suggestion: It would be very helpful to include a mirror and hooks (or coatrack) in the downstairs entryway.Overall, it was a great stay! Having four en-suite bedrooms this close to the beach made it well worth it!
