No Breakfast
The property needs some maintenance issues sorted. Some mattresses were old and uncomfortable. We arrived to a bucket of dirty water in the sink and a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. A shower leaked through the ceiling and fused some electrics. Some of these things have been mentioned in previous feedbacks. The oven also needs replacing. It was a bit cold too, as heating didn’t come on till 5 pm, which for a large house took a long time to get warm.
We enjoyed the space and grounds for our 3 generation family. And we did spot some deer.

The one thing that was wrong was that there was only 3 Wine glasses , apart from that I have been trying to contact the number you gave me for the owners but nobody replies , I need to contact them because my Grandson left his speaker their
and I want to get it back for him . I would be obliged if you could get the Owners to Ring me .

This was a perfect property for big family New Year, plenty of room, huge grounds, fun games room.
Tennis was good on the 1 day without frost, although it was quite wet he grounds were nice to explore, little herd of deer were nice to watch. Kitchen was well equipped and Aga cooking was interesting.
This place must be amazing to stay in the summer and use the pool and more outside (was plenty of outdoor seating with cushions.
A few very picky points;
Blunt knives
Pool cues all need new tips, but I came with snooker cues so was ok for us.
Need more & bigger towels.
Not enough whiskey style glasses.
Insufficient internal waste bins and external rubbish bins (TIP - take strong rubbish bags).
Would benefit from a little TLC to bring it up to amazing standard.
