garden. Stairs to large double bedroom with garden views. Off the landing is the bathroom with WC bath with overhead shower. There is a small dressing room/store room. A well behaved dog is allowed at a charge of £25 payable at the property.

A cosy base with all we needed for a lovely stay in a lovely area. A nice welcome package of flowers, drinks and biscuits, along with a few extras - cooking oil and tea bags. Impressed with the kitchen area, which was well stocked with equipment to enable easy self catering. Denise was a very thoughtful host, willing to respond quickly to questions. One point to note - we didn't want one, but there isn't a hot tub!

We had a lovely few days in Denise's cottage. It's in a peaceful little village and a great spot for exploring this part of Dorset. We recommend the Sailors Return pub in Chaldon Herring - great food!

Lovely little property in a nice friendly quant little Dorset village, ideally placed to explore Dorset. Denise was a wonderful host and the garden was a peaceful sun trap.
