Lovely Apartment 10 mins walk from everywhere. The Lady that let the Apartment was a Gem , I would Definitely stay here again.

It was on a busy road - back home we live on a busy road so it wasn't an issue for us. The apartment is very nicely furnished, the balcony is great for sitting out (in full sun until about 11am) it was very clean, spacious and the hostess is a lovely friendly lady. The apartment is a short walk from shops/bars/restaurants/bus stops. There is no pavement on the road, but most drivers are courteous and pull over to let you walk safely. The road is well lit up to the apartment. The back room was the one we used so it was a little quieter - during the night there is very little traffic anyway.
The apartment has a fridge, oven (we didn't use it), microwave and hob (took a bit of working out to use, but Google was a great help!) There are plenty of plates, cutlery etc. Loads of pots & pans, dish soap, cloths etc. Christina left a welcome gift for us (butter, melba toast, jam, chocolate, wine - we didn't use the wine) which was a lovely touch. The Spar is at the bottom of the road, but we used the A&B supermarket about 10 minutes walk away (go through the carpark of Pita Fan and walk left up that road and you'll find the A&B which is cheaper than the Spar - plus you won't get knocked down if you walk right to the corner (we called it "death corner" as we saw a few near misses!)
You can also walk into Ialysos, we got the bus there, had a wander around, got food. We walked later in the day and it was a lovely walk back - took around an hour but we wandered back home and stopped in somewhere for ice cream.
Oh - the beach is pebbly, we just walked down (10 minutes walk, behind the Spar, to have a look at it and took sunset photos...further along there is sand and pebbles....maybe a good 20-30 minutes walk along. The bus to Rhodes old town can be absolutely PACKED, but if it's full, it will say "Full bus" and he or she won't stop.

We were too sweaty.
JOKING!!! 🤣 WE HAD A GREAT TIME! There is very little not to like! The weather was glorious 🙌 we met so many kind and friendly people.
