Mireille was very supportive. When I let her know that I would arrive around 1 in the morning, she said no problem, she would be there. She helped advise me about the taxi and waited at the curb when we pulled up. She was very responsive to any questions I had. The apartment was modern and spacious. The bed was comfortable. I was grateful there was a washing machine there, even an ironing board although I didn't use it. My room/balcony had a nice view of the hill and felt rather private, and it was quiet. It is only about 4-5 minutes to walk to the main street. There were a couple markets nearby to get snacks or groceries. The bus stop was only few minutes away. The beach was less than 10 minutes away. Ialysos has beaches and several restaurants but little else, nevertheless it was conveniently about halfway between the airport and Rhodes Town, and the buses passed through frequently. It was a nice location to stay.
