The location is excellent. Literally 2 mins to town centre.
However. The windows are old and the noise from traffic from 5.30am until 11pm is like being at silverstone. There is a spar shop opposite so its very noisy. But staff excellent and very clean

Twin room was £68 and was vey large clean and had everything you need in it including a fridge. Only 7 parking spaces but go ot one by arriving 12.15pm check in 2pm. Theres a carpark across the road which is free from 5pm to 9am with shops including 4 takeaways. Plenty or restaurants, pubs bars etc ,5 minutes walk away. Castle 10 minute walk away. Great value for money and good location.

Overall the management were very helpful, Tea, coffee water available in room couldn't fault for the price we paid, We had room 10 which we OK stains on carpet which needs addressing

We only booked this hotel because it said it was air condiitoned - AND IT WASN'T !!!!!! On the hottest night of the year so far in 2024 !!!!!!!!!! The room only had a small fan that you could blow wind faster yourself. It was so hot and stuffy we could not sleep
