It was very clean and the facilities were as described. We had a twin room. It was downstairs next to the front door but it was very quiet in the property. We weren’t disturbed. Good tea and coffee making facilities. Fridge and bottled water provided. Host was on hand when we checked in and explained everything we needed to know. Just stayed on night. Met our needs comfortably. Uber from Betty’s York area around £5 each way. It is walkable too.

I wasn't sent my access codes, and there is no on-site desk; but when I called the phone number on the door, I got prompt and efficient help.
My room was on the cool sie, but the heater they provided remedied that.
The mattress was lumpy but manageable.
Top up supplies of tea/coffee are easily available. And there is a corner shop almost on the doorstep, and a co-op store 6 minutes walk away.
There are 4 parking spaces; it may be possible to request use of a permit for street parking
I was mystified by the emphatic ban on alcohol in rooms.
