We had a good stay at the Volcano Hale. The neighborhood is very nice, the self check-in and check-out worked well, the room was spotless as was the shared bathroom. One drawback was the mattress which felt nearly as old as the house (built in 1912) and was quite uncomfortable. Overall a good stay with an easily fixable issue.
