Welcome to Fern Forest Hale - A 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Vacation Home Near Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Volcano Village and Golf Course!
This beautifully decorated newly constructed home is the perfect locale for sightseeing the east side of The Big Island. From here, swimming and snorkeling one of the many beach parks in Hilo is a 20-30 minute drive and the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is only 5 minutes away and open again to the public, with a whole new look!
Ferns & Frogs Forest Hale sleeps 6 comfortably with a king bed in the master, and queen beds in the 2 guest bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own large private ensuite bath and walk-in closet.
The living room boasts a large, L-shaped, comfortable reclining leather sofa with a decorative fireplace, (fireplace out of order) large flat-screen TV, and gorgeous new artwork by famous local photographer, Harry Durgin!
The large kitchen has everything you need to cook those fantastic island meals, and the dining room table seats 8 comfortably. There's also a gas grill, outdoor dining, and a hammock chair.
The Hale also has all of the modern amenities that you would want in a vacation rental home including satellite TV, high-speed internet, washer/dryer, and more.

This home, just a few minutes from the national park and Volcano Village, was a great option for our 2-day visit to Volcanoes National Park.
The home was very nicely furnished, with plenty of comfortable spaces for our group. We especially enjoyed the comfy seating and fireplace in the living room.
The kitchen was very well equipped, with one minor inconvenience. We wished there was a larger frying pan/skillet when cooking breakfast for our group of 5, but we did fine using 2 smaller pans.
The property manager was great, readily available to answer any questions we had.
Overall, this was a terrific place to stay, and we'll definitely consider it for future visits to the Volcano.

We had a great time staying for a short stay in Ferns and Frogs Forest Hale while we explored the national park and the east side of the island. We really enjoyed the porch and grill. We had a good time making dinner. It is a brand new home and we enjoyed the space and the beds are very comfortable.

The property is close to Volcano National Park, in a quiet neighborhood. We loved how peaceful it was, especially enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning on the covered patio. The house was exceptionally clean and came with everything we needed.
