Good for the money. Issue was restroom smelled like sulfur when shower was turned on. Smell stayed in my nose for several hours.

I booked a 3-night stay in November 2025 and checked in after midnight on the first night. The moment I opened the door, I knew something was wrong—the room looked nothing like the photos advertised online. The décor, layout, and overall condition were so far off that I turned around and checked right back out.
I was on the property for less than 10 minutes.
The front desk instructed me to contact Agoda for a refund, so I did. For the past month, I’ve been stuck in a back-and-forth between Agoda and hotel management while my credit card shows a full charge for all 3 nights.
Now the hotel is refusing a refund unless I provide photos as proof—which is absurd. I did not expect that a guest’s complaint would be treated like a legal deposition. I never imagined a Best Western property would require “photographic evidence” before honoring a customer’s word—especially when the issue is false or misleading representation of room conditions.
In short:
• Room didn’t match the advertised photos
• I refused the room immediately
• I did not stay the night
• I was charged in full
• I’m now being asked to prove it with photos
It is astounding to be charged hundreds of dollars for a room I rejected on arrival, and equally astonishing that the hotel’s response has been stonewalling rather than basic customer service.
Travelers deserve better than a property that hides behind technicalities rather than standing behind what it advertises. I will never book here again, and I strongly suggest future guests proceed with caution.
