Seehotel Grüner Baum

Located in the car-free center of the World Heritage town of Hallstatt in Upper Austria’s Salzkammergut region, the 4-star superior Seehotel Grüner Baum offers spacious rooms with panoramic views of Lake Hallstatt. First mentioned in 1700, the fully renovated hotel offers a historic ambiance, which has already served as a backdrop to several movies. Seehotel Grüner Baum faces the historic market square on one side, while the other side of the building opens up towards the lake and features a terrace. Every day, the restaurant Zum Salzbaron serves freshly caught fish from the lake. Parking is possible for a charge in the P1 parking area outside the town. From there, free shuttle bus to the hotel is available (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.).
