Exclusive two-level apartment with private terrace on the canal Brussels

The property felt modern, cosy and great for our family. It was an easy walk to the Christmas Market and other sites, really easy to find and if we came back to Brussels, we’d definitely stay here.

The apartment itself is really great and has all the amenities you need. Close to the Christmas markets and the beds were comfortable. The host was accommodating regarding dropping bags off before check in so we could go out for the day.

From the inside the door would lock but early in the morning a man was able to open the front door and put his head into the apartment but quickly left when we had the sofa bed in use??? We could not get the key to the apartment out the back of the door, this meant when we returned from being out our bags had been in the apartment unlocked, this was the same the following morning when we quickly popped out for coffee we had to leave it unlocked. We hadn’t thought much of the key before our friend let us know about someone coming in unannounced and this made us feel uneasy. I did notify the owner but have had no response on this.

Very clean, easy access to shops and restaurants.

Excellent location for centre, local shops, bars restaurants. Easy to get to bt tram from the Eurostar terminal.

It didn't bother us, but access to the bedrooms and bathroom is by a narrow spiral staircase. This could be a problem for someone with limited mobility. The really big issue, and why I would not stay there again, was that there were 3 bases for smoke alarms in the flat, but none of them had a smoke alarm fitted. This is a big safety issue.
