Its a good location to explore Brussels city centre. Walking distance to most attractions, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores.
2 flight of stairs, wasnt much problem for us but may not be suitable for some.

For us, the location was ideal (2 minutes' walk from Comte de Flandre metro station, right next to a tram stop as well). Very easy to get into town; just a few minutes walk to a bakery/Carrefour Express.
We liked the view, the comfortable beds, the well-equipped kitchen.
Shower never got properly hot.
Property could have been cleaner (we found hair on the stairs).
Smell of drains on arrival.

This was an excellent find! The apartment was easily located a few blocks away from city centre (maybe a 10 min walk). The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for a one-night stay. There was a washing machine (which we didn't use, but nice to note), along with extra pillows and a duvet in one of the closets. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first level, and then the open-plan living area and kitchen are up one internal flight of stairs. Great for families, as long as everyone can climb stairs.
Also worth mentioning is how excellent the hosts were. They sent me the check-in information days before arrival and were always reachable by message. The apartment was clean beforehand, and check-in/check-out were very easy.
I would happily stay here again, especially if it meant having a Brussels-style waffle at Gaston (located around the corner). :)
The hot water in the shower was more like warm water. There are also a lot of stairs to climb, and the staircase is quite narrow. It seems like each apartment in the building covers two floors, so the third-floor apartment is up about six flights of stairs. Also, the larger bedroom overlooking the canal (my friend's family stayed in) was noisy at night. I had no noise issues in the other bedroom.

Good location, short walk to city center. Host was great and resolved a couple of issues immediately, they were always quick to respond to any communication. The property had everything that we could need.
The beds weren't comfy, especially one which only had a thin futon mattress on it.
