Summary:
Welcome to our cute, private, quiet guest house known as The Avocado Hut. The house is a 2 bedroom 1 bath with a full kitchen and a wonderful private outdoor space (as well as adjacent parking). We’ve set you up with all the supplies you need to enjoy the beach! Just pack vacation clothes and enjoy the local life! Peace and Love.
The Space:
This is a wonderful, cozy two bedroom guesthouse. It is set up for vacationing travelers (but is also ideal for longer term stays as well). There is a private outdoor space, great for entertaining or just enjoying your morning coffee. You have an assigned parking space just behind the guesthouse off the alley. Once you park you enter the private yard that is centered on a gorgeous avocado tree. Sunny San Diego is all about the weather so we spared no expense to make the outside the place to be (note the wifi works just as well out here as inside!). Once you enter the home you are treated to a king bed, queen bed and sofa bed to accommodate up to 5 guests. A complete kitchen (full oven and gas stove, microwave, blender, and toaster) as well as an in-unit washer/dryer make this guesthouse a perfect complement to your visit to San Diego. Note: if you are a fan of Dakota Johnson's kitchen this is the place for you.
The Neighborhood:
This home is on the Point Loma Peninsula with the harbor and fishing on one side and the beach life on the other. With only a half mile walk to the beach, restaurants and bars, this location allows you to live amongst the locals and walk into the excitement. A private yard space allows for a nice relaxing stay at home while you BBQ up a fresh catch right before walking to the top of the block to catch a 180 degree view of the San Diego sunset over the pacific (you can also head up early in the AM and catch the sunrise as it lights up downtown San Diego, the harbor, and the Coronado bridge.)
Getting Around:
A locals guide will be provided upon arrival to the Avocado Hut. We’d promote you walk the neighborhood and of course we will highlight the places you will not want to miss! With sunset cliffs walk being one of the top 10 most romantic spots in San Diego, you’ll be right on your way
Interaction with Guests:
We are a self-service destination (check-in details will be sent 3 days prior to arrival). However, we are also a full-service, professional management company (that has been a Superhost for over 10 years running) and we are just a phone call/text/email away and have agents that are almost never more than 10 minutes away should a need arise. in a pinch, the owners are on-site and reside in the main house if you have an urgent need.

A friend and I spent a week in San Diego. The Avocado Hut was perfect. We loved that it has two bedrooms and a living room and kitchen area. The private outdoor space was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay! I would definitely stay at the Avocado Hut any time I visit San Diego!

We came to San Diego to reunite with our son after his 9 month deployment. This adorable house was the perfect place for us to unwind, and spend quality time. The beds were super comfy, hot tub experience was amazing, directions & check in were easy. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking, enjoying morning coffee, & relaxing. Being a tall family we especially appreciated the high shower head, & hot water was abundant. Decorated very classy & cute. We walked down to the cliffs when the sun went down & it was amazing. I would highly recommend this place to stay & we will be back in the future!! 5 Stars all the way!

Enjoyed the peacefulness and hot tub. The mattresses were the worst I have ever slept on. With the amount of money paid, you would expect some decent mattresses. Did not sleep much. You definitely need a car or at least bicycles staying here to get anywhere in Pt. Loma without walking 20-30 minutes.
