Relax in comfort with ocean views from your living room, dining room and kitchen. Villa Mar Vista is one of just a few oceanfront homes available on Sunset Cliffs. Enjoy 3000 square feet of living space in 6 bedrooms plus two dining areas, and a living room (two queen sofa beds with Tempur-Pedic mattresses). We even provide you with games for the kids. The home is furnished with comfort in mind for large family groups.
Right outside your front door lies the 2-mile-long oceanfront Sunset Cliffs Nature Park. Come enjoy the unspoiled beauty of Sunset Cliffs where joggers, walkers, hikers, and bicyclists all enjoy the most unspoiled urban coastline in California. Directly west of Villa Mar Vista are tide pools that the kids can explore.
You will have 22-bed spaces for your 3-generation family group, reunion, or corporate retreat (extra guest charges apply to all guests in excess of 14, see below).
The huge backyard has a stainless-steel BBQ Grill and a brand-new aluminum Kettler Ping-Pong table. The large grassy front yard is great for playing soccer with the kids. Relax on the 24-foot by 30-foot pool deck with ocean views and the large above-ground Hot Tub.

As our guests, we kindly ask that you respect our neighbors and the community by adhering to our house rules and keeping outside noise to a minimum during quiet hours (8 pm - 9 am). Excessive noise or partying will not be tolerated, and we have the right to terminate the reservation immediately should this be an issue. No RVs, trailers, oversized or commercial vehicles.
RENTAL RATES AND FEES:
All quoted Rental Rates are for rental groups of up to 14 persons (counting all adults, children, and infants). For rental groups in excess of 14 persons, there is a per person charge of $70 per person per night applicable to guests 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 for each night of the reservation. For example, if the rental rate is $1500 per night with a 4-night minimum then a group of 16 persons would have a rental rate of $6000 for the first 14 guests plus $280 for the 15th guest and $280 for the 16th guest for a total rental of $6560 + taxes..
NON-REFUNDABLE PET FEE: $495/DOG; ALL PETS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED AND FEE RECEIVED.
TOURISM OCCUPANCY TAX: 12.75% of rental rate and fees (imposed by City of San Diego)

DAMAGE WAIVER (up to $500 of damage): $149

We had an amazing time at this property! It was the perfect size for our party of 20. Dylan was great to work with and attended our every need. The property was right across from Sunset Cliffs and provided amazing sunset views from the front deck! Our next family reunion in San Diego will definitely be at this property!

The check in and check out process was annoying. There is a guy that reads through an entire agreement that you have to sign and initial. This was a first in VRBO for me. The location is great and the house was large enough for a big group. The jacuzzi was gross, lots of stuff floating in it. The house is really aging and the pictures make it look nicer than it is. We paid for them to heat the pool but they don’t have any pool lights or really any lights in the yard at all. With the sun going down early at this time of year it made it impossible to use the backyard after 5pm, which was a shame after sightseeing for the day. The views are stunning from the front deck or a wick k walk across the street. There are some cute restaurants a short drive away. Like a lot of beach towns there were some odd cars parked with what appeared to be people sleeping on them. With some TLC, an easier check-in/checkout process and some lights this location would have been ideal.
